What to know
JAC sits on the floor of Grand Teton National Park, which is why the terminal is low, wooden and unusually pleasant, and why the approach from the north is one of the better views available from a seat in row 14.
Direct flights run from Denver, Salt Lake City, Dallas, Chicago, Atlanta, Newark, Los Angeles and Seattle, with more added for the winter season. Winter weather does occasionally divert flights to Idaho Falls, two and a half hours away by road.
We meet scheduled flights if you give us your arrival details, and the drive to the lodge takes twelve minutes. Rental cars are on site, but plenty of our winter guests skip the car entirely and use the shuttle and the town bus.
